Kelly Velasco, PharmD, MBA is a Medical Director at Amgen. In this role, Kelly leads the US medical affairs strategy. Kelly has been in this role just over 4 years during her 12-year career at Amgen. Throughout her career to date, she has gained extensive global and local medical affairs expertise in biopharma as both an individual contributor and leader, from strategy to product support, across all stages of a product lifecycle spanning Inflammation, Endocrinology, Neuroscience, and Oncology.
Dr. James McCloskey is Chief of the John Theurer Cancer Center Division of Leukemia at Hackensack University Medical Center. He was recently awarded from American Cancer Society “2023 Medical Professional of the Year.” He was previously the chief fellow in the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. McCloskey has presented a range of clinical work at major medical conferences, including meetings of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Georgetown University Research Day, and the Society of Comparative and Integrative Biology. His research has been published in Blood, Advances in Clinical Oncology, OncoTargets and Therapy, and Breast Cancer Research and Treatment.
